Lemon has a recognizably sweet, sharp, citrus scent and the oil has been cold-pressed from the rind. We go to great lengths to find the best lemon essential oil. We're excited to offer this new lemon oil in 2018. You'll notice a sharper, more citrusy taste and aroma - try adding this oil to your favorite drink and serve over ice to guests on a warm sunny day! Lemon is a great choice for the digestive system, immune, and respiratory systems. Lemon is one of the most widely used essential oils. From its strong disinfectant properties to purification, lemon is used to clean homes, purify the air, and also clean and flavor water. Uses range from asthma, hair conditions, insomnia, obesity, and skin disorders. In our orphanage in Uganda, lemon is the premier essential oil we use to support the body during attacks of malaria.

HOW TO USE:
Aromatic – Add 3-4 drops of oil to distilled water and diffuse; inhale directly by cupping your hands around an open bottle and breathe in deeply through your nose.
Topical – Directly apply 1-3 drops of oil to the area of concern or to reflex points (dilute using a carrier oil for people with sensitive skin). This oil may cause photosensitivity; avoid direct sunlight or UV exposure for up to 12 hours after applying to skin.
Internal – Place 1-2 drops of oil under the tongue; add 1-2 drops of oil to 8oz of water and drink; use as a flavoring in cooking.
Oral - Apply to inside of mouth as needed with a finger.

Skin sensitivity to sunlight for 12 hours after application is possible. As with all essential oils, it is important to test a small area for skin sensitivity before applying without a carrier oil. Wellness Warrior suggests diluting essential oils with a vegetable-based carrier oil, such as raw coconut or jojoba oil.
